The Welsh NTL side have returned from their opening tournament with positive reflections on their first games of the season. The tournament itself provided plenty of matches for the girls to experience playing at NTL level, and every player selected had equal court time. High Performance Coach Melissa Hyndman used this to assess the Junior Dragons playing skills and analyse the players for future matches.
In some respects it was a first time for both the management and team, as the girls had not worked directly with Hyndman before. Despite getting off to a nervous start, they soon found their feet and all the players improved on their performances throughout the day.
A big congratulations goes to Bethan Dyke who was chosen to Captain the team for the season, and also Leanne Thomas who will be Vice Captain respectively.
