Sisters Sara and Elen Govier were one of many #greenarmy fans who made the trip to Birmingham to support their favourite VNSL 2017 teams, the Celtic Dragons against Sirens. Here’s what they had to say about their experience.
“Cefais amser ardderchog yn y Genting Arena dros y penwythnos! Roedd lleoliad y gemau yn wefreiddiol! Bu’r chwaraewyr yn gwibio nôl a ‘mlaen ar y cwrt mor gyflym, roedd e’n anghredadwy! Teimlais mor falch tra’n gwylio’r Dreigiau Celtaidd yn chwarae. Rwy’n hoff iawn o wylio pob chwaraewr ar y cwrt. Ond, fy ffefryn yw Kyra Jones. Roedd hi’n brofiad gwych i weld y cefnogwyr o’r tîmau arall yn llenwi’r Arena yn gwaeddu dros eu tîm. Roeddwn wedi siomi gyda’r sgôr terfynol (dwi’n meddwl bod pob un cefnogwr yn teimlo yr un peth) ond ar y cyfan, fe wnaeth y Dreigiau fwrw ymlaen i weithio’n galed trwy gydol y gêm. Dyna be’ sy’n gwneud y cefnogwyr yn hapus!”

“I enjoyed watching the Super Ten very much. To see all those amazing teams play in the Genting Arena was great! And, to see so many people cheering for their favourite teams… WOW! I always love watching the Dragons, and being part of a huge crowd was brilliant! My favourte player is Suzy Drane, but I love all of the other players too. I loved the entertainment during the day – it was really fun, especially the mascots’ dance off, it was so funny! I’m looking forward to seeing the Dragons again soon and and I’ll be cheering them on with the rest of the Green Army!!”
