Celtic Dragons is proud to announce that it will be partnering with Newport-based charity, Dreams & Wishes for the 2018 Vitality Netball Superleague season.
As one of two charity partners for Celtic Dragons, Dreams & Wishes will be the match day sponsor for Celtic Dragons v Wasps taking place at 4pm on Saturday 9 June at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff.
Dreams & Wishes is a charity dedicated to helping seriously ill children by making their dreams and wishes come true. Since 2011, Dreams & Wishes has been working with families across the UK, providing vital support throughout the child’s illness as well as helping to build happy memories by granting lifelong wishes. In 2016, the charity helped to grant 188 wishes.
Sarah Jones, Welsh Netball CEO said: “We have an existing relationship with Dreams & Wishes and this year we wanted to give more prominence to the charity and their engagement with the Celtic Dragons. It is important that netball uses its ever-growing profile as a platform to help charities like Dreams & Wishes.”

Sarah Palmer, Celtic Dragons Lead, is looking forward to welcoming Dreams & Wishes to the Sport Wales National Centre this season. She said: “Dreams & Wishes do an incredible job of making wishes come true for children experiencing unimaginable hardship and we are proud to be able to support their work.”
She added: “I know that the players are keen to meet some of Dream & Wishes’ beneficiaries and it promises to be a great day of netball.”
