Celtic Dragons is proud to announce that it will be supporting The Prince’s Trust Cymru as one of its charity partners for the 2018 Vitality Netball Superleague season.

As an official charity partner for Celtic Dragons, The Prince’s Trust Cymru will be the match day sponsor for Celtic Dragons v Team Northumbria game taking place at 4pm on Saturday 28 April at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff.

The Prince’s Trust Cymru works with disadvantaged young people, aged 11-30, across the UK to transform their lives. The Trust, founded in 1976 by HRH Prince Charles, delivers programmes and services that help young people who are struggling at school, or who are out of work. In Wales alone, the Trust helps over 3,000 young people to develop skills, grow in confidence and build resilience each year.

Sarah Jones, Welsh Netball CEO said:

“It is great that we are able to team up with The Prince’s Trust Cymru for this year’s netball Superleague. This is a great opportunity for our sport to be a platform for The Trust to engage with new audiences and hopefully connect with young people, who may not be aware of the opportunities The Prince’s Trust can provide.”

Philip Jones, Director of The Prince’s Trust Cymru said:

“We are delighted to be supporting Welsh Netball this season. Sport and being active is a big part of The Prince’s Trust’s work and Welsh Netball is a leader in this field. I hope this is the start of a great partnership between us. We’re really looking forward to the game against Northumbria, and introducing you to some of the brilliant young people who have been supported by us – Pob lwc Dragons!”
